Sometimes it’s hard to figure out how to design, cater and entertain kids at a children’s birthday party. This article will be best for you if you struggle with some of these things.

Your invited

Are young kids coming ? If so then make sure that you your party takes place either before 1pm and 3pm as you want to avoid there naptime so that your guest are awake and happy. To be more organised you would want to know when the party starts and when the party finishes. with the invitations themselves, add a homemade touch by tracing your child’s hand on the outside of a blank card, or even let your child “decorate” with stickers or funny bright colours.

Cake secrets!

Some easy cake ideas and designs could be to make a simple vanilla box cake mix and cut a hole in the middle of the cake which is big enough so you could pour in some chocolate pieces and some yummy treats so that when the cake gets cut the yummy snakes with come pouring out.

Googy bags!

The googy bag design should be your child’s favourite colour or a bright colour so that the guest will want to grab them and see what’s inside of the goody bags. Inside of the googy bags, should have at least 5 or more different snacks and goodies. Some examples of goodies and snacks could be a small bags or chicos lolly ice cream cones, caramel with buds, clouds, red skins, minties, green or red frogs, chomps, Jaffa’s and more. In the goody bags there could be little games or toys that the kids should play at home with or even with each other.

Some of the easy and fun games you could play could be musical chairs, pin the tail on the donkey, pass the parcel, egg and spoon race, egg toss, sack race and treasure race.
