CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION
CSI students explore the main aspects of Crime Scene Investigation, including, forensic techniques. They examine the criminal investigation process and solve crimes.

EPISODE 1 - The disappearance of Sean McGafferty.
A prosecutor

Someone’s taken Sean and Frankie won’t stop until he finds who did it.
EPISODE 2 - The stolen crystal.
On 28/05/2019, 9 pm sharp there is a manager of a museum closing the place for the next day. There are tonnes of fossils, artifacts, and jewels worth tonnes of money but the most expensive jewel is worth $10,000. It is quite small and is from the stone age which is why it has been preserved with glass and security cameras so that it can be safe from theft. Two thieves have been watching the museum for a few days. Some people have come forward saying they saw them. The first witness says she watched the first thief analyze the location and they were in a white Audi. The second witness says she saw the thieves enter the museum at 9:05 pm. They exited 20 minutes later despite the alarms going off. A knocked out the manager was found on the front doorsteps to the museum. She called the police as soon as she saw the manager screaming for help. Who stole the crystal?
EPISODE 3 - The stolen cake.
It is a 14th birthday party and Sarah is the birthday girl. She was about to cut her cake when she realised it has disappeared from the table. That cake was really expensive as Sarah is like a rich spoilt kid. At the end of the day decides to interrogate the people who attended the party.
EPISODE 4 - The missing PlayStation.
It was 15th of the April 2020 in Liverpool Sydney, where a report of a stolen ps4 came. It was 4:26am where neighbours heard screams in a house and saw a person running out of the house and escaped by car. Police and investigators investigated the scene and recreated the scene starting with the backyard door which lock was unscrewed and taken out, then police discovered shoe prints that were tested and turned out to be mens size 7 adidas shoes, police then found blood on the ground which belonged to the victim but police also found a knife that had blood on it which belonged to someone that wasn’t in the database, police did find a piece of black cloth on the end of the tip of the knife.
EPISODE 5 - Kidnapped!
On April the 20th a man comes home to see the lights off. This was unusual because usually, his son would be in the living room playing on his laptop. As the man walked to the living room, shattered glass was clear to see all over the floor. He glances at a note. Picking up the note, he throws down his bag, runs out while leaving the house in its broken state. He had been kidnapped. Who kidnapped Euventes?
EPISODE 6 - Case of the missing heirloom.
Madam Azrill Lopez, a mother of three children, suffers from serious medical illnesses and requires immediate surgery. The cost of this procedure is unaffordable, but fortunately for Madam Azrill, she possesses one significant item: a golden pocket watch that has been passed down in their family for multiple generations. This particular object can be sold for $70,000 which is more than enough for her treatments. On November 14, 2004 at approximately 7:30PM, a missing family heirloom had been reported to the NSW Police Department as stolen. The pocket watch was last seen in a safe located in the main bedroom of the Lopez Residence. Suspected individuals of this scene include the three children of Azrill Lopez: Rose, Santiago and Lysandre. Who stole the gold-plated watch?
SUMMARY
During Semester 1, students created a crime scene mystery. They had to successfully progress through 3 key stages in completing their projects. They had to discover, create and publish. These projects showcase their understanding of the Crime Scene Investigation course.
