This week in create a cake we were learning how to bake choc chip cookies. On Tuesday we had to watch our teacher do a demonstration on them. She had shown us all the tricks and tips to use when baking these choc chip cookies such as don't whisk the eggs too much or always preheat your oven. This help us be prepared for Thursday were we bake them ourselves

On Thursday we were given the opportunity to bake cookies. After watching the demonstration on Tuesday it was pretty simple and easy to do. The recipe to follow was short and quick. It was really fun to be able to actually bake them and watch them turn from a dough into actual baked cookies. Overall this week of Create a Cake was fun and exciting. Plus the cookies tasted good once they were baked and ready to eat.
